Illegal Dumping Removal & Prevention
Illegally dumped furniture, mattresses, and appliances cleared from Northern California multifamily properties, then the enclosure and monitoring changes that stop it recurring.

Dumped items cleared and kept from coming back
Green Glove Heroes removes illegally dumped furniture, mattresses, appliances, and debris from multifamily properties across Northern California, then fixes the conditions that invite it. Crews are on-site six days a week, so dumped items are cleared before they attract more, draw a city notice, or incur a hauler charge. Removal is on our own trucks; prevention is enclosure design, lighting, access, and a crew that's there every day.
Dumping compounds
If one mattress shows up by the enclosure on Friday, there'll be three by Monday, because dumping tells people that dumping works there. Your defense is speed, and a crew that's on-site Sunday through Friday gets to it faster than any call-out service.
What we remove
We remove furniture, mattresses, appliances, and other dumped items, and electronics and TVs go straight to a facility that accepts e-waste. Bagged trash left outside the containers goes into your containers for your hauler. Our truck and trailer take up to 15 cubic yards a run. We don't remove oil, paint, light bulbs, blood, or other liquid or gas waste; we separate it and direct your maintenance staff to the right facility.
Proof it works at scale
An 862-unit Fremont community was dealing with persistent illegal dumping and residents' bulk trash. Two truckloads of bulk removal a week, built into daily service with weekly photos, now handle it, and the hauler bill dropped 27%. Read the case study
Prevention is physical
Dumping happens where it's easy and unseen: an enclosure with no gate, no light, and a clear line from the street. Gates, lighting, sightlines, and placement remove the invitation. Enclosure design
Documented, because it may not be yours to pay for
Every dumped item is photographed with date and location. When it's someone from outside the property, that record is what you give the city, and it's what keeps a hauler from billing you for the overage.
Resident bulk is a different problem
We treat it differently when residents leave a couch by the enclosure, because they have nowhere else to put it. That's a program problem, and the fix is scheduled bulk pickup plus a route through management that your residents know exists. Bulk removal
It's a crime, and the record matters
Illegal dumping is a crime in California. Under Penal Code 374.3, a first conviction carries a fine of $250 to $1,000, which goes up to $500 to $1,500 for a second and $750 to $3,000 for a third, and the court can also order the dumper to pay for removal. If you report it, our dated photos with the location attached are what you hand to the city or the police. California Penal Code 374.3
Signs your property is a target
- Items show up overnight outside the enclosure.
- The enclosure has no gate, or the gate doesn't latch.
- The area is dark at night or hidden from the buildings.
- You find construction debris or items no resident would own.
- Dumped items sit for days before anyone moves them.
