Volume isn't evenly distributed
The amount of bulk a 300-unit property puts out changes from week to week. During turn season it can double, and the same goes for move-in weekend and the week after the holidays. Your bulk plan is sized for an average week, so on-demand handles what goes over it.
The cheaper third option
When bulk piles up by the enclosure, you can call the hauler for a bulky-item pickup, which usually comes with a special-pickup charge if they can fit you in. You can also let it sit, and when the truck photographs it you can get an overage fee and a complaint. Your third option is to call us. Bagged trash isn't part of on-demand. Our porters put it in your containers for your hauler, and when a heavy week needs an extra pickup, we set it up with your hauler for you.
Oil, paint, light bulbs, and other liquids need specially licensed vehicles, so we don't take them. If our crew finds any, we tell the property so the right vendor can pick them up.
How much fits
We measure in loads, and a single truck load holds up to 3 cubic yards. That's about a mattress and box spring with some light debris, or two loveseats. When we add our trailer, the truck carries up to 15 cubic yards, and Bulk Removal, Sorting & Consolidation has the full breakdown.
How to request it
Email or call your account manager and tell us what it is and where it's sitting, along with roughly how much there is. A photo helps. Once we confirm, we schedule the crew and respond within 48 hours, and the pickup shows up in your proof-of-service photos like every other visit.
