Bulk waste removal, done heroically

Green Glove Heroes removes bulk waste from multifamily properties across Northern California using our own trucks and trailers. A single truck load carries up to 3 cubic yards, and a truck pulling a trailer carries up to 15. For contract clients we take furniture, mattresses, appliances, electronics, and move-out debris, and we sort all of it before it goes on the truck and respond within 48 hours. We monitor and evaluate compactors, and your servicer makes the repairs.

We sort furniture, mattresses, appliances, and e-waste into recoverable streams before it goes on our trucks. One truck carries up to 3 cubic yards and a truck with a trailer carries up to 15, and contract clients hear back within 48 hours.

Vacant Unit Trash-Outs

When a resident moves out and leaves things behind, our crews clear the unit so your turn can start. They're already on your property six days a week, and Saturdays are available. We photograph everything we remove before it goes on our trucks.

How trash-outs work

On-Demand Bulk Removal

Turn weeks, holidays, move-in surges, and one-off events all produce more bulk than the regular schedule can handle. Existing clients hear back from us within 48 hours, Saturdays included, and we remove the extra bulk as part of our on-site service.

How on-demand works

Compactor Maintenance

We monitor your compactor, and when it faults we schedule your approved servicer to come make the repair. We'll also tell you whether an aging unit is still worth keeping. One 373-unit Milpitas community replaced three compactors with managed front-load containers and cut its hauler bill 58%.

How we monitor compactors

Why bulk breaks waste budgets

Regular pickups are a fixed cost. Bulk is where budget surprises come from. A move-out pile shows up, or somebody dumps a mattress and a couch by the enclosure overnight. Leave it and more lands next to it, then a hauler extra-service charge or a city notice follows, and your maintenance team loses its morning dealing with it.

Our porters are already on your property six days a week, so they stage and remove bulk as part of the routine. We don't set fixed days for bulk trash pickup. To keep extra charges down and the property looking good from the curb, we wait until there is a full load or collect the number of bulk loads specified in our agreement.

What one load holds

  • One truck load = up to 3 cubic yards. Picture a sofa and two mattresses with a few boxes tucked in.
  • One truck + one trailer = up to 15 cubic yards. A full move-out goes in one run, and so does a cleared storage room or a week of dumping.

Bulk Removal 101 explains what fits in a load and how to stay ahead of bulky waste on your property.

Which items we remove

We take: furniture, mattresses, appliances, electronics, TVs and monitors, move-out debris, and illegally dumped items, and the e-waste goes straight to a facility that accepts it.

We don't take: oil, paint, light bulbs, blood, or other liquid or gas waste that requires specially licensed vehicles. When our crews find it, they set it aside and let your maintenance staff know which licensed facility takes it. Construction and demolition debris isn't part of our bulk service; when you need it removed, we coordinate a licensed contractor approved for that work in your city.

Everything we take gets sorted before it leaves the property. Mixed bulk is billed as landfill, which is the expensive way to do it. Sorted, each piece goes to the right stream and counts toward your diversion numbers.

Is your compactor worth keeping?

Your approved servicer handles compactor repairs. We monitor the unit and report faults before they turn into downtime, then schedule the service and tell you honestly whether an aging compactor is still earning its cost. At a 373-unit Milpitas community, swapping three aging compactors for managed front-load containers cut the hauler bill 58%, and the same conversion at another Milpitas community cut it 52%.

Bulk waste questions

Anything that won't fit in a container counts, like furniture, mattresses, appliances, electronics, boxes from a move-out, and whatever somebody dumps by the enclosure overnight.

Yes. As part of our on-site service, we remove bulk items and e-waste and handle vacant-unit trash-outs, and your hauler keeps collecting your trash, recycling, and organics.

A truck load holds up to 3 cubic yards, and when we bring the trailer we can take up to 15.

We respond to existing clients within 48 hours, and that includes Saturdays. Porters already on-site handle routine bulk.

We only do bulk and trash-outs for contract clients. When the items are in the enclosure, the daily porters typically take care of them. If removal means going into a unit, we send a specialist to look at the scope and take photos so we can quote the trash-out.

Yes, we take appliances, electronics, TVs, and monitors straight to a facility that accepts them. Oil, paint, light bulbs, and liquids are things we don't take.

No, your approved servicer does the repairs. We monitor the compactor and report faults, schedule the service, and look at whether the unit is still worth keeping.

Resident requests go through property management, so we don't take pickup requests from residents ourselves.
