Heroic Waste Management → Made Easy
Bulk Removal, Sorting & Consolidation
Oversized items sorted into recoverable streams, then removed on our own trucks. Up to 15 cubic yards per run at Northern California multifamily properties.

Sorted first, then removed
Green Glove Heroes sorts and removes bulk waste from multifamily properties across Northern California: furniture, mattresses, appliances, and e-waste. It all gets separated into recoverable streams before it goes on our trucks, because mixed bulk billed as landfill costs you the most. One truck load holds up to 3 cubic yards and a truck with our trailer takes up to 15. Contract clients get a response from us within 48 hours.
Why mixed bulk costs you more
When a pile by the enclosure goes out unsorted, all of it gets billed as landfill at the landfill rate, and the hauler adds a special-pickup charge on top. If we sort that same pile first, it breaks down into metal, e-waste, wood, and mattresses with a much smaller landfill load left over, which costs you less and counts toward your diversion.
What we sort
We sort furniture and mattresses, metal, cardboard, and wood, and we take appliances, electronics, TVs, and monitors straight to a facility that accepts them. We don't take oil, paint, light bulbs, blood, or other liquid or gas waste. Our crews separate it and route it through your maintenance staff to the right facility.
Consolidation matters as much as sorting
Bulk that's scattered across a property takes three trips to collect. Our porters consolidate it as part of daily service by breaking it down and stacking it in one place, so it fits in a load and the truck makes one run.
We wait until there's a full load, or we collect the number of bulk loads set in our agreement, which keeps extra charges down and the property looking good between runs.
This approach holds up at larger properties, too, when it's part of the program. At an 862-unit Fremont community, weekly bulk removal is built into daily service and handles persistent dumping and resident bulk, and the hauler bill dropped 27%. Read the case study
How We Measure Bulk
Bulk Removal 101
We want you to know exactly what you're paying for, so this short guide explains what a load is and what fits in one. It also covers how thinking in loads helps you stay ahead of bulky waste on your property.
In our system, a load means what a single truck can carry, about 3 cubic yards of material. We use loads to build an accurate monthly estimate from the bulky waste we see your property produce.
We run two units, a truck and a trailer, and each one has its own capacity. We send the truck alone or the truck and trailer together, depending on what your property needs.
Here’s how it scales:
• One truck = One load = Up to 3 cubic yards
• One truck + Trailer = Five loads total = Up to 15 cubic yards
When we tell you "this site will likely need X loads per month," you'll know exactly what we mean and how that maps to your property.

One truck load holds up to 3 cubic yards
A single truck load works for moderate needs, like one or two pieces of large furniture or a mix of items, and the examples below come from what we see on-site every day.
- 2 loveseats or 4 medium recliners
- 4 single mattresses
- 1 mattress + box spring + light debris
- 1 fridge + small items including lamps, 2 small dressers, chairs, etc.
One load is often enough to cover regular overflow or an occasional cleanup after illegal dumping.

Bigger Jobs
One truck and trailer hold up to 15 cubic yards
When a property needs more capacity, we pair our truck with a trailer, and together they carry up to 15 cubic yards of material, which is five loads in one run.
You can request additional loads at contract rates.

Questions
It's anything that won't fit in a container, such as furniture, mattresses, appliances, electronics, boxes, and debris.
Yes. As part of our on-site service, we remove bulk items and e-waste and handle vacant-unit trash-outs, and your hauler keeps collecting your trash, recycling, and organics.
We can take up to 3 cubic yards in a truck, or up to 15 when we bring the trailer.
Mixed bulk is billed as landfill, so sorting it first lowers what you pay to dispose of it and counts toward your diversion.
Yes, we take appliances, electronics, TVs, and monitors straight to a facility that accepts them.
We take them intact to a receiving facility equipped to recover the refrigerant and process them. Our crews don't drain refrigerant or pull parts before loading.
We don't take oil, paint, light bulbs, blood, or other liquid or gas waste, since that requires specially licensed vehicles. Construction and demolition debris isn't part of our bulk service either. When your property needs it gone, we coordinate removal by a licensed contractor approved for that work where your property is.
We only do bulk removal for contract clients, and if you're not a client yet, you can start with a free quote.
