Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Global Waste Systems Inc., doing business as Green Glove Heroes (“Green Glove Heroes”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use greengloveheroes.com, why we collect it, and who else can see it. It covers this website only. It does not cover what happens after you become a customer, which is governed by your service agreement.

What we collect

Information you give us

We only receive what you type into a form and submit. There are three:

• Contact form — your name, email address, a subject, and your message.
• Free quote form — your name, email address, phone number, company name, property address, the number of properties and units you manage, and your message.
• Employment application — your name, email address, phone number, address, availability, desired salary, the position you want, whether you are legally authorized to work in the U.S., driving and accident history, education, references, employment history, certifications, languages, your typed signature, and, if you attach one, your resume.

The employment application asks for considerably more than the other two. We ask for it to assess your application and nothing else. Give us as little or as much of the optional fields as you like — only the fields marked with an asterisk are required.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 and StatCounter to count visits and see which pages get read. These set cookies and record your IP address, approximate location, browser, device, the pages you view and the site you arrived from.
• Server logs. Our host, Cloudflare, logs requests including IP addresses, as any web host does.
• Spam protection. Every form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which looks at browser signals to tell a person from a bot. It runs only on pages with a form.

We do not use advertising trackers, we do not run remarketing pixels, and our fonts are served from our own domain rather than a font network, so loading a page does not tell a font provider you were here.

Why we collect it

• To answer your message, quote your property, or assess your job application.
• To understand which pages are useful so we can improve the site.
• To keep spam and automated abuse off our forms.
• To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not trade or rent it.

It is handled by the services that make the site work:

• WEUNF — processes form submissions at forms.weunf.com and delivers them to us by email.
• Cloudflare — hosting, and the Turnstile spam check.
• Google — Analytics.
• StatCounter — Analytics.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and quote requests are kept as long as we have a reason to act on them or a record-keeping reason to hold them. Employment applications are retained for at least four years from the date received, as California law requires. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in each provider’s console.

Your choices

• Opt out of analytics. Install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or block analytics cookies in your browser. The site works fine without them.
• Ask us what we hold. Email [email protected] and we will tell you, correct it, or delete it, so far as we are not required to keep it.
• Do Not Track. Browsers send this signal inconsistently and there is no agreed standard for honouring it, so we do not respond to it. The opt-out above works regardless.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and job applicants. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. If the change is significant we will say so on this page.
