Getting it right the first time and keeping it that way

Green Glove Heroes makes sure your trash, recycling, or decontamination needs are optimized correctly the first time, and we keep working on them after that, because usage and needs fluctuate over time and everything from regulations to technology keeps changing. We keep looking ahead, adjusting and reoptimizing so you always have the most appropriate solution, and we adapt to mitigate those risks for you.

Our clients come to us when they're tired of the disruptions and extra workload that come from providers who underdeliver on their promises, even when they might find lower bids elsewhere. They stay with us because the numbers work, and our average ROI is 3x.

Most of our clients are property management companies, owners, and HOAs with substantial numbers of tenants, and they range from single communities to portfolios of 65+ properties. Each of them gets a dedicated account manager along with links to dated photos of every visit.

We're veteran-owned and led by industry experts, and our team of experienced, full-time employees makes sure you can achieve better KPIs.

Who we are

Richard Merrill

President & Chief Executive Officer

Four values have anchored my life for as long as I can remember: Trust, Logic, Integrity, and Family. These are the standards I hold myself to every single day and the heartbeat of everything we do at Green Glove Heroes.

The discipline and deep sense of accountability I value and practice every day were forged early in my service in the U.S. Army Airborne Infantry. In the military, you quickly learn that execution isn't about good intentions; it's about having your team's back, paying attention to details, running a tight ship, and delivering when people are counting on you. I carried that work ethic into leadership roles in commercial logistics and retail at FedEx and Target, always looking for ways to streamline operations and uplift the people around me.

Everything shifted when my son was born. Wanting to give him the foundation he deserved, we moved to Northern California to be closer to family. That transition ended up defining my life's work. Stepping in as the first West Coast District Manager for Valet Living introduced me to the multifamily housing industry. Still, more than that, it introduced me to the dedicated property managers and on-site maintenance crews working tirelessly behind the scenes.

Walking those properties, I listened to the real frustrations site teams faced. Nighttime doorstep trash pickup was helpful, but it didn't address the real chaos: overflowing compactors, piles of unsorted cardboard, abandoned furniture, and grounds requiring hours of backbreaking cleanup. Maintenance teams were burning out just trying to keep up. They were openly asking for help. They were telling me, in their own ways, that they needed a partner who could step in, take ownership of the mess, and give them their time back.

I founded Green Glove Heroes in 2021 because I genuinely cared about solving that problem for them.

We don't shy away from the hard, unglamorous work. We take immense pride in rolling up our sleeves, bringing order to chaotic waste areas, and treating every community we serve as if our own families lived there.

At the end of the day, our scale doesn't matter if we lose our personal touch. Nothing brings me greater fulfillment than when a client of several years tells me, "Green Glove Heroes does what they say they're going to do, and we trust them to get it done right every single day." That trust is earned property by property, shift by shift. We take that responsibility to heart, and we'd be honored to earn yours.

No. Your existing hauler collects your trash, recycling, and organics, and we work with them on your behalf.

Yes. As part of our on-site service, we remove bulk items and e-waste and handle vacant-unit trash-outs. Appliances, electronics, TVs, and monitors go straight from your property to a facility that accepts them. We don't take oil, paint, light bulbs, or other liquids, and we'll point you to the right vendor for those.

Our daily crews are full-time, uniformed W-2 employees. We bring in outside contractors for power washing and, when a job calls for it, for trash-outs or construction debris removal. Our washing contractors carry their own insurance and use no cleaning chemicals.
